presentation from Robin Harper, Andrews County Tax Assessor-Collector, regarding monthly report and disposition of Andrews County taxes collected for the month of March 2021.

Approve

the minutes from the previous meeting of Commissioners' Court held April 20, 2021.

Discuss and consider

approve/disapproving exemptions for age 65 and older ($12,000.00) value for Andrews County taxing purposes.

Discuss and consider

approving homestead exemptions of 20% of taxable value or $5,000.00 whichever is greater.
10.

Discuss and consider

approve/disapproving a road and bridge fee with regard to $5.00-$10.00 registration fees on vehicles, excluding vehicles that are exempt (V.T.C.A Transportation Code 502.401).

Discuss and consider

approve/disapproving the split payment of taxes for Andrews County Fiscal Year 2021/2022.

Discuss and consider

approving the full-time employment of Michael Moore for the position of Deputy Sheriff, pay grade 16, step 7 at a rate of $28.30 an hour, effective April 27, 2021 for the Andrews County Sheriff's Office.

Discuss and consider

approving the purchase of two 2022 Chevrolet Tahoes in the amount of $37,650.00 each and two 2022 Chevrolet Silverado Pickups in the amount of $36, 275.00 each from Caldwell Chevrolet, Buy Board Contract #601-19. The total amount for the transaction will be $148,250.00 including the $800.00 Buy Board fees, to be paid out of Fund 005, General Fund, Sheriff's Office Budget.

Discuss and consider

approving a grant between the Department of State Health Services and the Andrews County Health Department in the amount of $62,434.00 to improve or strengthen local public health infrastructure for the period September 1, 2021 to August 31, 2023 identified as Contract Number HHS001015200001 to be paid equally FY 22 and FY 23.
15.

Discuss and consider

approving Amendment No 3 to the grant between the Department of State Health Services and the Andrews County Health Department to add a one-time, lump sum of COVID-19 funds in the amount of $43,332.00 for the immunization program for the period September 1, 2021 to August 31, 2022 identified as Contract number HHS000109300001.
16.

Discuss and consider

approving Invoice No. 42835 in the amount of $4,825.00 from Lone Star Signs of West Texas for 50% of the bid price for two 3 foot 3 inches by 8 foot double-sided illuminated sign cabinets for the Legacy Park Project, to be paid from Fund 47, Legacy Fund. 
17.

Discuss and consider approving the County Auditor's Monthly Report to Commissioners' Court and District Judge as provided by Local Government Code Section 114.024 and 114.025 hereby identifed as the Red Book.

18.

Consider approving the various budget amendments for the 2020-2021 Budget year under Local Government Code 111.010(d).

19.

Consider approving the payment of financial obligations and payroll for Andrews County and cancel all warrants.

20.

Entertain a motion to adjourn.
