For all sports the 2023-2024 season the following applies:

Proof of age is required if not previously registered with the ACYRC.

Remember: You will not be able to register until all previous equipment or unforms issued have been turned in or paid for.

Play age is determined by how old the child will be on September 1, 2023.

Register at the Youth Center (During office hours)

Birth certificate required if not already on file at the Youth Center.

If you have uniforms from previous sports that have not been turned in your family will not be allowed to register for further sports until they have been returned or paid for.

Early registration for the 8-9 & 10-11 year old Basketball Program 2024 will begin November 27, 2023.

Here are the details:

Who: Boys and Girls ages 8-9 & 10-11 (as of September 1, 2023)

Birth certificate required if not already on file at the Youth Center.

What: ACYRC Basketball Season - 4 Divisions

8-9 Boys, 8-9 Girls

10-11 Boys, 10-11 Girls

Season last from January 13, 2024 until Feb. 17, 2024.

Where: Register at the Youth Center (Monday thru Thursday from 10:00am until 6:00pm and Friday 9:00am until 5:00pm). The Rec Center office will be closed from Dec. 25, 2023 thru Jan. 5, 2024 for vacations and holidays.

When:

Early Registration Nov. 27, 2023 thru Dec. 8, 2023 - Fee $30

Regular Registration Dec. 11 thru Dec. 22, 2023 - Fee $40

Late Registration Jan. 8-9, 2024 - Fee $50

Coaches Meeting Jan. 4, 2024 at 6:00 pm at the Recreation Center (Coaches must attend)

Tryouts on Jan. 8, 2024 for the 8&9 and Jan. 9, 2024 for 10&11.

After January 9, 2024 no one will be allowed to register.

Why: To introduce kids to the sport of organized basketball and develop some of the fundamentals of the sport while maintaining a recreational setting.
